Hello Everyone!

Participants are still needed. If you haven’t had a chance to fill out this survey, please do!

Last year, AWAM introduced Danita Baghdasarin. Danita is a PhD candidate at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. She is conducting a survey study as part of her dissertation, “Women in Aviation Maintenance: Motivating Workforce Entry, Retention, and Promotion”. The purpose of the study is to identify factors that motivate women to pursue, continue, and advance in aviation maintenance careers, as well as how these factors are related.

Danita’s study aligns with well with what AWAM has been working toward for the last 25 years. Danita needs our help! She is still in need of participants and is looking for individuals that meet the following criteria:

  • Female
  • at least 18 years of age
  • U.S. Resident
  • Actively employed in the U.S.
  • FAA-certificated mechanic and/or repairman

If you meet these criteria, please consider participating in this study. Below is the link to the survey! Please contact Danita baghdasd@my.erau.edu directly for questions or feedback about this study!
