The Aviation Africa 2021 summit will be hosted in Kigali, Rwanda on 21 to 22 April next year.

Aviation Africa, is the region’s leading summit and exhibition aimed at building and shaping Africa’s aviation industry.

The event will look at where to go from here; shaping the future for aviation in the wake of the coronavirus crisis.

It is reported that as the African continent begins to recover, Aviation Africa will bring together thought-leaders, practitioners, operators and regulators to address the key challenges both short-term and long-term.

While Covid-19 has been the biggest hurdle in the development of the aerospace industry since it began more than 100 years ago, the work done before the pandemic started may prove beneficial to Africa’s industry.

The event will look at some key issues which include airlines regaining ground or breaking new ground, can maintenance bounceback with survival plans, the future ahead, staying safe and regaining confidence and the people.

It is reported that alongside the main summit there will be a series of single-issue vital workshops ranging from aviation and corporate law, insurance and liabilities, ground safety, defence and unmanned aircraft.
